They understand the bandwagon effect and the power of the media coming out of Gaza and West Bank, so they’re gatekeeping truth by associating the truth-tellers with icky antisemitism. It’s a standard technique of killers with power.
You can tell by Israel’s pathetic showing at the ICJ (uh….uh…pamphlets? uhhhh…October 7th? errrrhm…humanitarian ethnic cleansing?) that there’s no defense and all they have left is pointing fingers, exercising power & spending money to suppress, and yelling “blood libel.”

Palestinians in Gaza, even before this murderous war, had no control of their borders and no way of freely entering or leaving their territory . They were also under seige. Basically Gaza is a very large ghetto or open air prison with terrible living conditions even before this war. The second class citizenship of Palestinian Israelis is well documented within Israel itself. Yes, they can vote and serve in the Knesset but they are discriminated against in housing and employment and by many Israeli laws. Home demolitions occur regularly because Palestinians of Israel are often arbitrarily denied permits while Jewish citizens are not. Picture the West Bank as Jim Crow in the south before the 1960’s Civil Rights movement and Israel behind the Green line as the US north where there was still plenty of discrimination against Black people and little legal redress.

Whilst academics postulate to very little useful end, innocent Palestinians are being killed and maimed by a vicious cruel right wing government. Retribution for 7th October has passed. The sheer numbers are outageous. The inability to see that himiliating Palestinians is hateful and unjustified is of huge concern. And the Israeli press is being censored so the Israeli people do not know the genocide being carried out in their name.
People care about Israel as it is an English speaking western style democracy. Andmost decent people care about the Holocaust.
The best way forward is for Hamas to surrender.

What on earth does this mean?
I think we all need to start looking at the horrorsthat are going on now. Israel cannot just lean on 7. 10 and think this has given them a free ticket to destroy a nation of people they have pushed down or years. And I know its complex. And I know we are dealing with 2 traumatised nations. And I fully acknowledge that Hamas is a very vicious organisation that hates Jews.
But Israel is disgracing itself now.
Scripture and quotes from so-called great men (usually flawed men) will not solve the horrors that innocent people are experiencing.
And it all appears to be escalating. Israel has great power and it is using it in a brutal and pointless way.
